FuelWhere

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 15, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the FuelWhere marketing website, mobile applications, customer portal, and related services. By accessing or using a FuelWhere service, you agree to these Terms. A separate customer agreement may include additional terms and will control if it directly conflicts with these Terms.

Authorized business use

FuelWhere is intended for businesses and their authorized workforce users. You may use FuelWhere only for lawful business purposes and only with the permission of the customer organization that manages your account, FuelLocks, equipment, and FuelZones.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining control of the phone number and devices associated with your account, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You may not impersonate another person, attempt to access another company's information, bypass FuelWhere access controls, or interfere with the operation or security of the services.

Fuel-access services

FuelWhere provides tools intended to help authorized customers control and record access to compatible fuel-pump equipment. Customers remain responsible for equipment compatibility, safe installation, maintenance, employee authorization, FuelZone configuration, and compliance with workplace, vehicle, fuel, and safety requirements.

FuelWhere records access-related information but does not measure the amount of fuel dispensed or automatically identify the vehicle or equipment receiving fuel. Location accuracy and message delivery can vary based on device settings, network availability, surroundings, and third-party services.

SMS Messaging

FuelWhere sends one-time verification and authentication codes by SMS when an employee requests a code through the FuelWhere mobile application. These messages are transactional only. FuelWhere does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

  • Message frequency varies based on verification requests.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages.
  • Reply HELP for help.
  • Support is available at support@fuelwhere.com.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent to receive SMS authentication messages is not a condition of purchasing unrelated goods or services.

Opting out may prevent FuelWhere from delivering the verification code needed to sign in to the mobile application. Information about FuelWhere's handling of phone numbers and SMS data is available in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use FuelWhere for an unlawful, fraudulent, or unsafe purpose
  • Attempt to defeat authentication or tenant-access controls
  • Probe, disrupt, damage, or overload FuelWhere systems
  • Upload malicious code or submit false or misleading information
  • Copy, reverse engineer, or misuse FuelWhere software except where applicable law expressly permits it

Intellectual property

FuelWhere and its software, website content, product names, branding, designs, and documentation are owned by FuelWhere or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of FuelWhere intellectual property.

Availability and third-party services

FuelWhere relies on mobile carriers, internet connectivity, device operating systems, hosting providers, mapping services, authentication providers, and other third-party services. We work to provide reliable services, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Features may be updated, suspended, or discontinued when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or service improvement.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, FuelWhere services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability or that the services will prevent every instance of unauthorized fuel access, theft, misuse, equipment failure, or human error. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FuelWhere will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, fuel, or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the services. Any additional allocation of risk in an applicable customer agreement remains in effect.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as FuelWhere and its services evolve. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
